Isle of Man has made a move that should look
very tempting to online casino operators.
Changes have been made to the small island's
Online Gaming Regulation Act of 2001, which
sets forth the provisions and guidelines for
awarding their online gaming license.
In what has likely come as a result in
keeping up with United Kingdom's precedent
setting UK Gambling Act, online casino
operators will not only find it more of a
simplified and cost effective process in
getting their gambling software tested, but
they will also have more creative options in
how they advertise and market their casino
site. Further incentive is that the
new bill will give license holders access to
innovative disaster recovery systems,
including their telecom infrastructure.
