Lasseters Corporation announced their software
integration with the Orbis OpenBet platform is complete, and that players now
have access to fifty-one online casino games. Several key features come with
the new upgrade, including multi-currency and multi-lingual capabilities, and
more user-friendly and fine tuned gaming features and customizable controls.
Lasseters, which is the only government licensed
online casino permitted to take bets from Australian residents, has been
seeking to diversify and broaden their reach since the passing of the Unlawful
Internet Gambling Enforcement Act by the U.S. Congress. Part of this strategy
was to expand in non-English speaking markets, such as China, Japan, Spain,
Portugal, Germany, Italy and France. Accepted currencies at the cashier
include Pounds, Euro's and U.S. Dollars.
Lasseters' Managing Director, Peter Bridge, said
that along with recognizing the changing landscape of the online gambling
industry, the company has been paying attention to the changing needs of
players. With this in mind, Lasseter's turned to the UK-based Orbis Technology
Ltd., whose online gaming software platform, OpenBet, supplies several
UK online
casinos and is known for
sophisticated graphics and operational functionality. Players will now have
better customizable controls, such as variable resolution, ambience and sound
features.
Although the least concern of players these days
is having the ability to change the sounds and cosmetic features of an online
casinos software platform, it is still nice to know that synergies are being
put into making the gaming experience more enjoyable for the players.
Lasseter's will also be offering online sports betting in the very near
future. Using different software than their casino platform, Lasseters Sports
will still be linked with the main operating system.
