Villento Vegas weekend roundup

The Lara Croft upset! The voting was rigged! It had to be.  I had Lara down for the win.  But no, the sexy lady of the tomes has been voted out of Slots Idol II after only two rounds of voting.  The first to go was the Thunder God Thor from Thunderstruck. Now Lara.  But five finalist still remain and it’s up to you to vote for them.  There’s the mystical Lady of the Lake from Avalon, the assassin from Hitman, the rapper from Loaded, the Diva from Ladies Nite and the Rabbit from Mad Hatters.  Come on, folks, don’t let the Lady of the Lake go the same way as Lara Croft.  Voting is free just for registering at the site and for the tournament and playing your favorite slots game.

To console myself after Lara’s defeat, I went searching for the Villento Vegas mystery symbol slot. Every weekend, Villento Las Vegas brings you a new mystery symbol as part of the $3,000 prize giveaway.  All you have to do to win is spot the symbol and send in your entry.  This weekend’s symbol is an evil purple walrus.

So off to

Path of the Penguins   24406

This is an icy slot where revenge is a dish best served cold, and your job is to help these penguins defeat the evil the evil Walrus and release the penguins. The slot begins with a movie revealing the chosen few who will help you in your task.  These are  Chuck the Monk,  Sneaky the Ninja and Sam the Samurai.

This is a five reel, twenty-five pay line slot of Antarctic Zen. The basic symbols are the 9, 10, J, Q, K, A, but in this case, all carved from ice.  Add to that frozen ninja throwing stars and chilly nunchucks, some rather frozen sashimi and the evil walrus.  The Ninja penguin is your substitute symbol and the penguin from in the ice cube the scatter symbol. You’ll need to hit and defrost three frozen penguins to trigger the scatter bonus.  During the bonus, you’ll select 3 Ice Cubes for the penguins to smash to win cash or free spins.

So, up or down in the money?  Alas, I feel the cold chill of a draft on my empty wallet.  Fortunately I’m playing for free because I’ve never had a slot game where I’ve had to refill my play money amount twice before I hit the bonus round to write about it.  Actually, I liked the look and feel of the game, but I also like winning.
