Free Casino Gambling and Game Lessons

We have all been in the same boat when it comes time for our first live gambling session at a newly learned game.  We will spend hours reading gambling books, watching how-to videos and testing ourselves on the rules of the game.

But when it comes time to put down real money stakes on the table and bet with other players, we often find that all of our hard-earned knowledge immediately flies out the window.  Even if we spend time at home practicing the game with a deck of cards with friends or by ourselves, when it comes time to gamble in a real setting, we will begin to question our actions and wonder if we are doing things the right way.

This is precisely why it is a very good idea to take advantage of free gambling lessons.  Most Las Vegas Resorts offer free gambling lessons, and will let participants put their skills to the test by playing at an actual table with players and a dealer. Game lessons usually begin with a dealer/instructor explaining the rules of the game, the proper table etiquette and actions, and anything else a player will need to know to help play a good hand.

Contrary to what some players believe, it is within the casinos best interest to advise those taking the lessons of the most advantageous moves to make, rather than leading them astray into making bets that are primarily in the House's advantage.  Dealer's know that most players taking lessons are going to do some research of their own on game rules and strategies, and when they do, they will find out if their free lessons were of any value or not.  If not, the player will likely go to a different place to gamble.  Therefore, do not worry about being taught the wrong moves to make when taking free lessons.

Many places only offer free lessons during weekday hours, although some gambling resorts will offer them round the clock.  Check ahead of time to see if where you are planning on gambling offers free lessons, and what the class schedule is.  All of the lessons are relatively short, culminating in a hands-on practice session that lets participants play with fake money with the dealer and other players.

This is an excellent way of getting over one's fears and reservations, thus putting an end to second-guessing and timidity when it comes time to gambling with real money.  At the very least, you may decide that the game you are learning is not fun and suited to you after all.
