Learning How to be a Graceful Loser in the Casino

If you can only have a good time gambling online when you are only winning, you might want to think twice about gambling any more. Playing with real money should not send your heart into irregular palpitations, or you are going to be devastated every time you lose a bet.

The key to "successful" gambling is to have a good time, and to play with money you'd just as soon expect to lose.  Don't beat yourself up over past decisions, saying "if only I cashed out then" or "why didn't I hold".  These will only cause unneeded stress that will keep you from enjoying yourself in the casino and ultimately not be good for your mental and physical health.

Just remember to set yourself limits.  Whether this entails a winning limit, a losing limit, or both, doesn't matter.  Base your decision on your own personal needs.  For instance, if you need money and are down to $20 at the blackjack table, you might want to put all $20 down for one last bet.  If you win, walk away.  Now you have $40, that otherwise, you may not have at all if you try to stretch out $20 and hit a losing streak.
